Born into a family of tailors in Saigon, Vietnam, Thuan was alway surrounded by clothing. One of his favorite past time was making clothing for dolls from fabric remnants from his family's tailor shop. At a very young age he knew that he wanted to pursue a career in fashion. Soon after Thuan began a small business for altering and repairing clothes for his friends and family. Which eventually led him to making custom dresses for specialty clients and was even featured at a community fashion show.

Thuan continued his eduction at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing

a Bachelor degree of Natural Science in Textile and Apparel. This was truly a dream come true for him, to be constantly surround by creativity and beauty. He enjoy spending countless hour draping his dress form and discovering new silhouette and sewing techniques.
